一早微風嗅得昨夜驟雨的濕涼。石畔沙地洗透出如繁星點點般晶亮的石英砂,隨性錯落得斑斕有致。是時序更迭入秋,寰宇遺留下這美麗的零落;還是漂泊四方的遊子,在深怕迷途時即偷偷撒下的回鄉引路石,在秋雨風淒時增添幾許鄉愁,隱隱啄心地益發戚戚。

The morning breeze carries the cool moisture left by the shower last night. The sands by stones reveal the sands of quartz, splendid and sparkling like the stars in the night sky. Are these the gorgeous remnants left by the cosmos as autumn arrived or the compass stones left by drifting wanderers for their way home that add a pinch of nostalgia during the melancholic days in fall, gnawing your heart in blues?

回家 Home

為父者,為撐起一家的承擔而奮鬥,往往積纂成一道道的風霜刻記;循著堆擠之紋脈來記錄家人成長日常的甘美記憶。「回家」是每個異鄉人心底最舒壓的療癒歸屬,藉由質樸、憨然神情之老者形象來衍諭「家」,收納遊子離鄉背井之萬千積累,暫歇撫平後繼續外出承接日子的磨礪。然而歲月積壓,再能承擔的肩頭也有無法馱負的時候…。回家看看吧!

A father struggles to shoulder the sweet burden of home, earning marks of hardship one after another through the years. These marks denote the delightful memories over the years of a family. “Home” is the most soothing sanctuary that comforts anyone that drift to alien lands. The rustic, authentic image of an old man implies the “home” that takes in weary travelers away to strange lands, so that they may move on and move forward in the days to come. The burden through the ages would still be overwhelming for a man, nevertheless… Come home!

恬甜 Candy Sweet in Memory

味道和氣味往往存留於意識底層,冷不防地被喚醒。記得小時侯少有零用錢買糖果來為童年增樂添趣,因此養成對糖甜無從抗拒的渴望。金甘仔糖外裹糖粉與白條紋的鮮麗色澤,十分討喜。讓人不自覺地甘願冒著齲齒風險也要手握數個,一顆顆塞入口,享受著垂涎後的片刻滿足。因此藉由鄰家女孩吃糖的模樣,試圖勾串起記憶裡那美好甜蜜的時光。

Taste and scent deposited at the bottom of consciousness are awaken out of blue. I recall that because I had limited allowance to buy candies for pleasure in my childhood, I could hardly resist the temptation of sweets. Golden candies sprinkled with sugar powder, white stripes, and bright colors were such a delight. One may unconsciously get a handful of candies at the risk of tooth decay and savor them one after another for moments of satisfaction for the cravings. I portrayed the look of a girl next door having candies in hopes of drawing out the sweet old days in memories.
