1977年生於臺灣雲林。國立臺灣藝術大學美術系西畫組94級畢業。橙品專業水彩藝術中心教師、中華亞太水彩畫會正式會員。桃城美展、雞籠美展、雲林縣美展油畫水彩永久免審查。
Born in Yunlin, Taiwan in 1977, Yu-Chun Chiang graduated in 1998 from the Western Painting Group, Department of Fine Arts, Taiwan University of Art. He is a teacher at Chengpin Professional Watercolor Art Center and Full Member of the Chinese Asia-Pacific Watercolor Association, recognized with the privilege of permanent “Selection-Exempt” in Art Exhibition of Chiayi, Keelung Art Exhibition, as well as in the Oil Painting Group and Watercolor Group of Yunlin County Art Exhibition.

白堊紀 The Cretaceous

當色彩可以滲透，我用大面積的渲染、縫合、層疊，交織出一個逃離現實的世界。內容以我兒象弟最崇拜的恐龍作為發想，於白堊紀前的不安與焦躁在魔術方塊+保齡球的剩餘歡樂中愜意生活。
As colors were permeable, I wove out a world via large areas of wash, stitching, and superimposition to escape the reality. The content was inspired by dinosaurs that my son, Elephant, admires most, capturing the charming life mixed with the anxiety prior to the Cretaceous amidst the remaining pleasures in Rubik’s cube + bowling.

生命中的一抹紅，釋放在雜亂的世界，不斷追逐自己的影子，忽略真真切切的過每一天，隨著時間的推移，思緒的沉澱，這念頭正持續發酵。雨中，透著陽光的雨季在風中閃閃發亮，年少時光的悸動再一次敲醒了我，塵封的記憶依然亮麗如昔，像心跳呼吸不曾離去。
A touch of red in life is released in the messy world, chasing its own shadow and forgetting living each day down to earth. As time goes by and the mind chilled, such idea grows. The rain amidst the raining season with sunshine glistens in the wind. The throbbing of my youth strikes me once again. The dust-laden memory is brilliant as it were, as if it never fades away like heartbeats and breathing.

白堊紀末期啟動PLAY鍵，將時間中軸拉至結局，積累的能量膨脹直達沸點，傳遞的熱度與力度抵達臨界點，繪畫美好如同波希米亞式的自在愜意，在長大後卻忘了享受自由，塗鴉的單純擁抱善變的人們與切割剖析淨度的Diamond，最終，微波解凍的色塊大量滿溢，在世紀末成了不可收拾卻又不得不嘉冕的果凍色彩。
Press the PLAY button in the end of the Cretaceous and drag the time to the end. The cumulated energy rise to the boiling point while the heat and strength to the tipping points. The beauty of painting is like the contentment of the Bohemians. After we grew up, we forget to enjoy freedom. The simplicity of graffiti embraces fickle humans and cut through Diamond for clarity analysis. At last, the defrosted colors by microwave oven outflow, becoming uncontainable and yet acclaim-worthy colors of jelly.
