White Sublimation 白色的昇華

2025 / Watercolor and Epoxy resin on Watercolor paper 水彩 環氧樹脂 水彩紙 / 77 × 108 cm

White tones are adopted to express the overall atmosphere of Rachmaninoff’s Third Movement, an ascending composition that becomes increasingly bright, like colorful light. The work depicts the passionate sense of sublimation of the Third Movement.
 
以白色調來表現拉赫曼尼諾夫第 3 樂章整體氛圍,上昇的構圖、越來越亮如多彩的光芒,描繪第 3 樂章激昂的昇華感受。

Brass and Piano 銅管與鋼琴

2025 / Watercolor and Epoxy resin on Watercolor paper 水彩 環氧樹脂 水彩紙 / 75 × 55 cm

Yellow tones are used to express the glorious, brass-like sound of the music in C major. The overlapping blocks illustrate the lyrical, expansive, and romantic imagination in Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, Second Movement. The 3D undulations of epoxy resin are utilized to create a visual sense of spatial sound.
 
以黃色調表現音樂 C 大調輝煌如銅管樂器的聲音感受。交疊的塊面表現拉赫曼尼諾夫第 2 號鋼琴協奏曲第 2 樂章中抒情、寬廣、充滿浪漫色彩的想像。並利用環氧樹脂的立體起伏來營造視覺性的空間聲響感。

Moans in the Swaying 搖曳中的呻吟

Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, First Movement. The C-sharp minor carries an atmosphere of painful moans, like a ship swaying in a storm. The murky pain is expressed through the characteristic sedimentation of watercolor, with coarse black textures outlining the feeling evoked by the music. Abstract blocks are interspersed, stirring up emotions of fear and excitement.
 
拉赫曼尼諾夫第 2 號鋼琴協奏曲第 1 樂章。升 C 小調有種痛苦呻吟的氛圍,像是在暴風雨中搖曳的船隻。用水彩特有的沉澱色澤表現昏暗的痛苦,其中以黑色粗糙的肌理描繪樂曲給人的感受。抽象塊面錯落,製造恐懼激動的情緒。

Gentle Composition 柔和的構成

Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, Second Movement, transitions into a lively and gentle emotional expression after the lyrical and expansive section. The juxtaposition of tenderness and vibrancy is conveyed via the contrast of yellow and blue, the use of watercolor washes, and the layered effect created by epoxy resin.
 
拉赫曼尼諾夫第 2 號鋼琴協奏曲第 2 樂章,在抒情寬廣的段落後進入了活潑與柔和情感表現。以黃色與藍色對比、水彩水濺運用及環氧樹脂製造的層次感來表達柔和與活潑的並置。
