Part of an ongoing series painted outdoors under the rain in different places around the world, this piece was created in the Normandy region of France—a place of preserved, raw nature. Here, rain becomes a true co-creator. It seeps into the still-wet paint, merging with it, softening edges, sometimes gently erasing what I’ve laid down—and in doing so, giving birth to new, unexpected forms.
Water, both essential and poetic, leaves its delicate imprints, shaping an abstract landscape. A quiet collaboration between the artist and the living rhythm of the natural world.
本作是持續在世界各地的雨中創作而成的系列作品之一，於保有完好、原始自然的法國諾曼第地區創作。雨水於此成為真正的協作者，它滲入依然濕潤的顏料中、與之融合、柔化輪廓，有時輕輕抹去我描繪的筆觸，並因此催生出新的、意想不到的形式。
水，既是必需也充滿詩意，留下其細膩的印記，塑造出抽象的景觀。這是藝術家與自然界生動節奏之間的靜謐協作。
Big Wave 巨浪

In this ongoing series, I work directly on beaches around the world, letting the waves imprint themselves onto the paper. The ocean becomes both subject and co-creator—its movement, rhythm, and unpredictable energy soak into the surface, blurring the boundary between painting and nature. Each piece captures a fleeting moment of contact with the sea, a raw trace of water’s power, presence, and pulse.
This series is an homage to the beauty of our oceans, inviting us to reconnect with their strength, fragility, and wonder—inspiring care and respect for these vital waters.
這個持續創作的系列中，我直接在世界各地的海灘上創作，讓海浪在紙上留下印記。海洋既是主題也是協作者，它的運動、節奏和無可預測的能量滲透到表面，模糊了繪畫與自然之間的界線。每一件作品都捕捉了與海洋短暫接觸的瞬間，還有水的力量、存在與律動的原始痕跡。
本系列是對我們海洋之美的致敬，讓我們與海洋的力量、脆弱與奇蹟重新連結，啟發我們對這些重要水域的關懷與尊重。

This watercolor captures a vast, untouched landscape—distant, yet quietly familiar. With subtle depth and layered transparency, it speaks of a reconnection to what is essential and enduring. Nearly 50 layers of watercolor washes build an atmosphere of stillness and space, where a soft light glows in the distance—a quiet beacon of hope, or perhaps a guide toward something deeper.
作品描繪出一片廣闊、未經染指的風景，遙遠卻又悄然熟悉。以微妙的深度與層疊的透明感，訴說著與本質和永恆之物的重新相連。近 50 層的水彩疊染，烘托出靜謐與空間的氛圍，其中柔和的光芒在遠處閃耀，那是座寧靜的希望燈塔，或是通往更深層的指引。
A Landscape Remembered 記憶的風景

This watercolor is built from layered brushstrokes, each one unique yet connected, creating a sense of movement and breath throughout the composition. The overlapping marks evoke an abstract landscape—not a place, but a feeling—where rhythm, life, and space unfold. Though intimate in scale, the painting suggests vast open spaces, inviting the viewer into a quiet, expansive world. Painted on handmade cotton paper, the texture and material add to the organic presence of the work, grounding its fluidity in something deeply tactile and alive.
