In this noisy and unsettled era, they remain hopeful for the unknown and hold a profound affection for their beloved land, environment, and culture.
《斯土斯民》系列畫作以不羈的筆觸和肌理、抽象或寫意的型式描繪，表達在這個喧囂的世界、不安的年代裡，渺小而單純，對未知仍有期待的人們，對所愛的這塊土地、環境與人文抱持的濃重情懷。

In this world of upheaval, in an era of unrest, what kind of thoughts do people hold towards the unknown tomorrow? Is it expectation, aspiration, or confusion?
These complex emotions are translated onto the canvas. Large areas of whitespace and grayscale are employed, with a tint of oriental ink wash aesthetic, to render a tranquil atmosphere in the painting, articulating a yearning for peaceful times and stability in the present world.
在這喧囂的世界、動盪不安的年代，對於未知的明日，人們抱持甚麼樣的心念？是期待、憧憬，還是茫然？
將這些複雜的情懷，轉譯在畫布上，運用大面積的留白和灰階，略帶東方水墨意境的表現方式，營造畫作寧靜的氛圍，抒發對歲月靜好、現世安穩的期盼。
