2025 / Mineral pigments and Ink 礦物顏料 墨 / 56 × 78 cm
The cityscape is depicted in a single shade of blue. Rather than pursuing splendor or dramatic change, it seeks purity amidst intricate structures.
This blue resembles the morning mist, and also the indigo ink stains on the yellowed pages of memory, quietly telling the soul of the city.
Blue is tranquility, clarity, remoteness, and an emotion yet to be fulfilled.
A page is a fragment of a story, a fleeting moment in life.
用單一藍色調描繪都市景象,不追求華麗或劇烈的變化,而是在繁複的結構中找到一種純粹。
這藍色像晨霧,也像記憶中泛黃書頁上的靛藍墨跡,靜靜地訴說城市的靈魂。
藍,是寧靜、透明、遙遠,也是某種未竟的情感。
頁,是故事中的片段,是人生中的瞬間。
State of Silence 無聲之境
2025 / Mineral pigments 礦物顏料 / 56 × 78 cm
The clamor in the landscape is intentionally removed, leaving only “existence itself.”
Vast expanses of air endlessly spread across the canvas, allowing viewers to freely project their emotions and imagination, as if they are situated in a space where their inner self can find peace.
This is purity, a gaze that needs no words, and a moment of being alone with oneself at the edge of the world.
刻意去除風景中的喧囂,只留下「存在本身」。
大量空氣的空白,無限蔓延在畫面各處,讓觀看者能夠自由投射情緒與想像,彷彿置身一個能夠安放心的地方。
這是一種純粹,是一種不需要語言的凝視,是在世界的邊緣,與自己獨處的那一刻。
Realm of Tranquility 沉靜之域
2025 / Acrylic and Watercolor 壓克力 水彩 / 56 × 56 cm
Sedimentation is the second form of experience. There is no need to deliberately erase the inner terrain that has been shaped.
I construct a place of silence with deep blue, allowing experiences and emotions to settle slowly for viewing to be an existential experience.
All phenomena turn into a state of profound tranquility, wherein emotions lie dormant, prompting the heart to inquire: Is this place an end, or a beginning?
沉澱,是經歷的第二種形狀,不必刻意抹除,它們早已化為內心的地形。
我以深藍構築一處靜默之地,讓經歷與情緒慢慢沉降,使觀看成為一場存在的體驗。
萬象皆歸於一片沉靜,情緒在其中潛伏,讓心自問:此地,是終點,還是開始?
The Curtain of a City 城市之幕
2025 / Mineral pigments, Watercolor and Ink 礦物顏料 水彩 墨汁 / 143 × 113 cm
The idea stems from my perception of life’s rhythm—it is both rapidly leaping and full of unspeakable tension. The city is like a stage play. Curtains rise and fall daily, and people enter and exit per the rhythm. I stand within, as both an observer and an actor, unable to detach. I try to incorporate the tenderness of water-based mediums into the geometry of cool urban tones, rendering a blurred emotion. It is not just a depiction of the city’s appearance, but more a projection of a state of mind.
想法源自我對生活節奏的體感——它既快速跳耀,又充滿無法言說的張力。城市彷彿是一場舞臺劇,每天幕啟幕落,人群依著節奏進出場,而我站在其中,既是觀者,也是演員,難以抽離。我試將水性媒材的柔軟,加入都市冷調的幾何之中,營造一種模糊的情緒。它不只是描繪城市的樣貌,更是一種精神狀態的投射。
