曾任銘傳大學助理教授、臺北士林高商廣告設計科主任、復興商工美工科繪畫組長、臺灣國際水彩畫協會榮譽理事長、全國美展等各大重要美展評審
國內個展計36次（2018止）， 2014年接受俄羅斯國家博物館邀請至莫斯科等地舉辦三場水彩巡迴個展。「活水-2017桃園國際水彩大展」、「水彩的可能－2018桃園水彩藝術展」、「活水-2019桃園國際水彩雙年展」策展。著有水彩畫相關工具書共二十餘冊。曾獲中華民國畫學會2007水彩類「金爵獎」、國立嘉義中學傑出校友獎。
Alumni of the National Chiayi Senior High School, Bachelor and Master of the Department of Fine Arts, National Taiwan Normal University, and Master degree from Fontbonne University, U.S.A.
Ming-Fu Kuo served as the Assistant Professor at Ming Chuan University, Director of the Department of Advertisement Design, Shilin High School of Commerce, Chief of the Painting Group, Department of Arts, Fu-Hsin Trade and Arts School, Honorary Chairperson of the Taiwan International Watercolor Society, and jury to significant art exhibitions including the National Art Exhibition.
Kuo has thrown 36 solo exhibitions domestically by the end of 2018. In 2014, the artist was invited by the State Russian Museum to throw exhibition tour in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Siberia. He was and is the curator of “Flowing Water – 2017 Taoyuan International Watercolor Exhibition”, “The Possibility of Watercolor – 2018 Taoyuan Watercolor Exhibition”, and “Flowing Water – 2019 Taoyuan International Watercolor Exhibition”. He has published over 20 reference books for watercolor and personal publications. Kuo is the winner of “Golden Goblet Award” in Watercolor Category from the Art Society of China 2017 and of the Distinguished Alumni Award from the National Chiayi Senior High School.

像鳥一樣在空中飛翔，俯視群峰。山是巨龍，白雲環繞，交織成如詩如醉的畫面。我以寫意的方式在水彩渲染交融之間，描繪心中夢想的山景。
Soaring in the sky like birds, I overlook the mountains beneath. The mountains are a magnificent dragon surrounded by clouds that forms a poetic, captivating picture. I portrayed the mountains of my dream via wash of watercolor in freehand style.
眾神聖殿 Temple of Gods

山是有靈性有生命的，每座山像神一樣都有其個性與外型。我常夢見爬過的許多不同的山，他們會悄悄地從不同的地方位移到某個盛大莊嚴的殿堂聚會，熱鬧而莊嚴。蒼茫暮色中，那是一個壯觀宏偉的山岳嘉年華畫面。
Mountains are entities with spirituality and life. Each mountain, like a deity, has character and appearance unique to their own. I dreamed the various mountains I have climbed stealthily shifted from diverse locations to one magnificent temple for convention, lively yet solemnly. Amidst the vast gloaming, there is a majestic festivity of mountains.
天空之城 The City in the Heavens

我會夢想造訪山神居住的地方，並畫出它的壯闊與神秘。那裡應該是座落在遙遠高聳的群峰之間。要拜訪它，須越過像城牆一樣的屏障、險峻迷茫的地形，最後終於到達明亮祥和、接近天堂的桃花源，那就是「天空之城」。
I dream visiting the place where mountain deity lives and portray its majestic and mystic beauty. It should be somewhere in between mountains that stand apart from one another. To visit it, one has to overcome the barriers of walls, precipitous and bewildering terrains. At last, a brilliant, peaceful, heaven-like utopia you will reach. “The City in the Heavens” it is.
