Delightful Harmony (Peace & Happiness Deities)

古物隨著時間的雕琢，益發飄散出古樸、溫潤的迷人氣息。收藏這些物品除了欣賞優美的造型，更品味了其中所傳達的意境與內涵。現今臺灣社會人情冷漠、族群分裂、互相猜忌、彼此攻擊，早已失去傳統和諧的人際關係。在到處求神祈福中，我們忘了有帶來歡喜的“和合二仙”。希望藉由荷花、寶盒的諧音，帶給我們和睦相處、百年好合的期許與願景。
Antique would grow even quainter and warmer as time goes by. I collect these items not only to appreciate their elegant outlooks, but to savor the meaning and connotation they harbor. Nowadays in Taiwan, people are indifferent and divided, suspecting and attacking one another as the harmonious relationships back in the days are gone. As we pray to deities here and there for blessings, we forget there are “Peace and Happiness Deities” that bring joy. With lotus and treasure box homophonic with “harmony” in Chinese, they present us with a prospect of delightful harmony for good.

Lions – Tribute to Diligent Teachers

古物隨著時間的浸潤，益發呈現古樸典雅的造型及色彩，尤其是木雕，更散發濃濃的溫潤氣息。獅子在中國是祥瑞的象徵，造型討喜可愛的獅子，更是傳統宅第及寺廟建築最重要的吉祥物。老師過去是大家尊重及社會安定的職業，但今日”尊師重道”卻已蕩然無存。請給默默耕耘的老師更多的掌聲及尊重！
Polished by time, antique would present simple but elegant shape and colors. Especially wooden sculpture, they would give off dense vibes of warmth. Lion is a symbol of auspice. Lions with lovely appearance often serves as essential mascots in traditional residence and temples. Teachers used to be a profession of respect that brings stability to the society. Yet, “the respects for teachers” no longer exists. Let us give diligent yet silent teachers more rewards and respects!

喜愛古物歷經歲月後的洗鍊，不再有銳利的尖角，也沒有冶豔的色彩，只有溫厚的觸感及淡雅的顏色令人玩味。各種不同材質的容器皆有其承裝的物品，如同現今臺灣不同族群、政黨、每個人都要有開闊的胸襟及氣度，社會才能免於紛爭而走向和諧！
I love antique polished through time. They lose sharp edges and bright colors. What remains are warm, solid texture and faint, elegant colors for one to appreciate. Vessels of all sorts have things they can load, just like the various groups and political parties in Taiwan today. Each and every one should open up their heart, leading the society to harmony instead of controversy!
