From everyday life, I search for inspirations and directions to creative subject-matters. It is one of the ways I record my living. I am fond of “sea,” so I take sea as my creative subject-matter. Nevertheless, in addition to recounting seascape, I am also interested in any oceanic creature. There are a variety of life at sea, like fish, crustaceans, cephalopods, etc. Their formal and color variations are associated with their means to living, such defense, escape, disguise, reproduction, and so on. I observe and enjoy the mysteries of all things as I document these fascinating things in painting.
從日常之中，找尋創作題材的來源及方向，也是在此記錄下自己生活的方式之一。 我喜愛「海」，因此以海為創作題材，然而述說海景之外，對海洋之中的任何生物也倍感興趣，海洋之中的生命非常多樣，魚類、甲殼類、頭足類等，牠們的外型與色彩變化關係到牠們生活的方式，如敵禦、逃跑、偽裝、繁衍等等，將這些有趣的物事以繪畫的方式記錄，同時觀察、享受萬物的奧妙之處。

This series presents the recent works of the Flowers series by the artist. The paintings are mainly done in watercolor, combined with other mediums like graphite and traditional ink, on rice paper. The presentation is also an inquiry that fuses the spatial concepts of sketching and traditional ink painting.
