The master was a neighbor of my grandmother’s house. In my childhood, I always saw the master working diligently when I went back to my grandmother’s house and heard his energic shouting from time to time. When the day broke, he began his labor of the day every day for decades. I really admire such professionalism.
師傅是外婆家的鄰居，在我的成長過程中，回外婆家都會見到師傅認真工作的模樣，不時還能聽見充滿精神的吆喝。每天晨曦初露之時，便開始一天辛勞的工作，數十年如一日，這份職人精神令我相當敬佩。
The Last Moment 最後時光

Fatty had gone when the artist worked on the three pieces. The old Fatty in the painting was already seriously ill. My mother on the side was busy with house chores, while it laid on the floor of the kitchen. It did not eat nor drink. Perhaps it was too old to move, or just want to take a nap. Or, maybe it just wanted to stay with us a little longer.
創作這三件作品時阿肥已離開。畫中年老的阿肥已經重病在身，一旁的母親在處理生活家務，而牠趴在廚房的地板，不吃也不喝，應是老了走不動了，也可能是想睡覺，也或許只是想再多陪我們一下。

Fatty in its middle age was rather withdrawn. It was a loner, which rarely cared about anyone. At times, it would come and lay down by my side, with limited contract, though. Perhaps it was just here for the fan and a nap! It snored rather loudly, yet regularly and familiarly, nevertheless.
中年時期的阿肥很孤僻，習慣獨來獨往，不太理人，有時候又會默默來我身邊躺下，即使不太會有接觸，可能是來吹電風扇睡覺的吧！牠打呼很大聲，卻規律又熟悉。
