Toyomi Hoshina
(Japan)
He studied at Tokyo University of the Arts under the influence of Koji Kamakura and Noboru Takayama. As a student, he belongs to the POST-MONOHA generation Kawamata Tadasi, and develops installations and paintings using materials such as wood, paper, ink, and video. His works have been actively presented in Japan, Switzerland, Taiwan, Germany, the United States, China, etc.
Graduated from Tokyo Art University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Major. Since 2006, he has been a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, and is currently a Vice President of Tokyo University of the Arts.

就讀東京藝術大學，深受榎倉康二、高山登之薰陶。學生時為「後物派」，與川俣正為同窗。他利用木料、紙、墨與影片創作裝置作品與繪畫作品。其作品常見於日本、瑞士、臺灣、德國、美國、中國等地。
東京藝術大學畢，為美術學部繪畫科敎授。2006 後擔任東京藝術大學美術學部敎授至今，現為東京藝術大學副校長。
