The work is created in a surreal style. An elephant was taken as the protagonist that is fused with trees to give rise to the idea of symbiotic form, telling the story of the ultimate aging and withering of life. Nonetheless, the meaning of inheritance and propagation sustain this ceaselessly life of nature, reminding us that the spirit of life caring lives on perpetually.
本作品以超現實手法表現,以大象為主角並結合樹木,形成共生的形體概念,訴說著生命或許終將老去與消逝,但傳承與繁衍的意義,卻是維繫這大自然的生生不息,提醒我們關愛生命的精神不滅。

A hollow-out stencilplate was used to create a 3D texture. The picture presents the texture like a stone wall, allowing pigments to deposit naturally to display beautiful patterns. It presents the style of a theatric narrative mural, seeking to convey a mysterious sense of tension over the picture betwixt the rich condensation and motion.
嘗試以鏤空的型板借此圖案製作立體肌理,畫面仿石牆質感的效果,使顏料呈現自然沉澱後的美麗圖案,表現出劇場氛圍的敍述性壁畫風格,企圖散發一種神秘並充滿凝結與動態之間交錯的畫面張力。

I sought to create a 3D abstractive texture, allowing pigments to deposit naturally following the corrugated texture in attempt to alter the airy attribute of transparent watercolor into something solid. As such, the work emits an energy that is mysterious, serene, and restrained like a theatric statue.
我嘗試製作出立體抽象肌理,借其凹凸的紋理變化使顏料自然沉澱,企圖改變透明水彩的輕薄轉為厚實,作品猶如劇場氛圍的雕像般,企圖散發一種神秘、寧靜且內斂的能量。
